Ever since the Labour (or should I say “New Labour”yawn) government came to power in 1997 they have been banging on about “Lords reform”. To be fair it is one of the few manifesto promises that they have actually kept. Election Day May 6th

After all the speculation it has finally arrived. Gordon Brown, a man questioned about his leadership skills not only by the public and his adversaries, but also by his own party, has finally called for a general election. It will be truly interesting to see which way the public vote. The Conservatives are supposedly the favourites to overturn the Labour majority and take their place as the leading party for the first time in 13 years.
