The Write Way Forwards.
One of the things I love most of all about being a writer is the amount of ‘job variety'it so often involves. Because I can never be sure of exactly what each new day will bring, it means I have a continual sense of excitement! And there are surprisingly few jobs you can say that about. I mean, you will know exactly what to expect each day if you are standing beside a machine in a factory for hours on end… (Believe me, I know all about that from my own experience!). However, being a writer is totally different; one day you may be required to write blog posts for a data management company, whilst the next you could be providing written content for a designer clothing website.
Of course, not everyone is cut out to be a writer… but it is actually a whole lot easier than you think. Just about anyone can string a dozen words together and after that, much of it will simply come down to practice.
So, if you like the idea of earning a living from the written word, the easiest way to start is by writing about things you are interested in. If you have a love for football, why not write a piece about your favourite team? Or maybe you have a good understanding of car engines; well there are certainly a lot of people out there who would enjoy reading an article about this!
Sure, you may only be doing this for your own amusement to begin with, but who knows where it could lead in the years ahead? If you continue to write, then the chances are that the quality of your work will improve… and that could result in a very interesting job indeed – possibly a great deal more interesting than the one you already have!!!!
