Being cheated in the name of ‘Research’

Many small companies crop up these days and claim that they can provide work from home opportunities for a minor investment. Upon this investment, one receives a starter kit and some instructions. One such company was Speak Asia, which would send questionnaires to its patrons and pay them for filling the same. Thousands of people signed up and fell prey to this scheme. When the scam was busted, it was learnt that the company swindled innocent people of tons of dollars within no time. Next time one comes across such a scheme, think thrice!
